I came across a wedding documented by For You Love Me on the internet. The wedding photos revealed a photographer with an artistic and sensitive eye, and I knew I wanted that photographer to capture our wedding day. Not only did we have the privilege of having Carissa document our day with photographs, her husband documented our day with video. They captured more than a day—they captured our love and lives. When Caleb and I first talked to Carissa about what we wanted from our wedding photography, I said “I want to be able to spread out all of the pictures on the floor and see the whole day.” And when Andrew and Carissa arrived the day or our wedding,  I knew instantly that’s what we were going to have. They wasted zero time, they just started shooting. They kept up with the crazy tight schedule, and were ready to tackle anything we wanted. But apart from their professional and attentive eyes, I was grateful for one major thing: their relationship. Andrew and Carissa work so well together - kicking ideas off each other as they work and getting excited about whatever they are seeing through their lens. Their love for each other is so apparent that while we were taking our pre-ceremony pictures, I could not help thinking, “that’s what Caleb and I are about to get into!”
The day our pictures arrived in the mail (beautifully packaged) we spend the whole evening pouring over every photo - laughing, tearing up, and complementing how each image was composed and toned, each one seeming better than the last. We aren’t the type of people to plaster every wall with our wedding photos, but it sure was hard not to! The photos were exactly what we hoped. No detail was missed. Every element that made our wedding “our’s” was there. And, of course, us. When I first saw Carissa’s photos, I fell in love with how she documents her love for Andrew. And looking at Caleb and I in our photos - I felt immensely thankful that she cared about capturing our moments as whole-heartly as she captures her own.  Someday, we’ll show these to our kids and they won’t just see pictures, they’ll see our love. -C+J
